DYlan Deitch

Class of 2021

Dylan Deitch is a 2L Legal Innovation + Technology Certificate student.  Born in West Bloomfield, Michigan, Dylan graduated in 2018 from the University of Michigan with a degree in Sport Management and Entrepreneurship.  In the summer following his 1L year, Dylan worked in-house at Smile Direct Club in Nashville, Tennessee.  While working for Smile Direct Club, the company was preparing for its Initial Public Offering on the NASDAQ stock exchange as well as rolling out international expansion in Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom. 

 Prior to enrolling in law school, Dylan obtained a vast set of professional experiences through internships and job opportunities.  Some of these experiences include working for a Seed/Series-A venture capital fund, an experiential marketing firm, an NBA sports & entertainment franchise, and a luxury home real estate developer.  In his time at the University of Michigan, Dylan was a member of the executive team for the Michigan Sports Business Conference planning team and served as the director of marketing and consumer insights.  The student-run event has solidified itself as a premier conference in the country by connecting current and future business professionals in the sports and entertainment industry.

Dylan is excited to continue building his tool-kit by building upon his past experience and exploring opportunities in different fields of business and technology.
