Class of 2020
Jeet Bhatt has served as an agent for a number of years where he represented professional athletes and negotiated over $1 million in playing contracts and sponsorship contracts, wrote press release articles, and importantly built long-lasting meaningful relationships with his clients. Jeet’s experience representing professional athletes illuminated his passion for advocating for individuals.
Currently, Jeet Bhatt is a 2L Fellow at Chicago-Kent’s Law Lab where he assists both Professor Daniel Martin Katz and Professor Alex Rabanal with legal research and process improvement. Jeet, specifically decided on attending Chicago-Kent because of the Law Lab and their forward minded approach to the legal industry. Jeet started as Law Lab Fellow during 2017 Summer, before entering Chicago-Kent as a 1L. Right away, Jeet immersed himself into the world of legal technology; he regularly attends Legal Tech Meetups in Chicago, learns about the new technologies available, and actively identifies friction in his legal capacity that can be reduced with the use of legal technology.
Now, Jeet is working on a project to reduce process management waste within the billing and appeal system at his current firm, SmithAmundsen.
