Kenny is originally from Columbus, Ohio and earned his B.S. in Systems Biology with a Minor in Environmental Studies from Case Western Reserve University. He has a background in bioinformatics and has an interest in applying that same knowledge and skill set to legal informatics and connecting technology and law, particularly within the field of Environmental Law.

After undergrad, Kenny worked in various clinical and research-based laboratory roles for employers such as the Ohio State University and Adventist Health Systems. At Chicago-Kent, he serves as a 1L representative for the Chicago-Kent Lambdas and the Environmental Law Society.
