Rickie Quaglia

Class of 2022

Rickie Quaglia is a 1L fellow at the Law Lab. He is originally from Heredia, Costa Rica. He graduated from the Mahindra United World College of India in 2012 and then moved to the Chicago area to attend Lake Forest College, where he earned his B.A. in Economics and International Relations with a Minor in French language. While pursuing his B.A., Rickie interned at the French National Assembly in Paris and for Senator Dick Durbin’s office in Chicago.

After graduating college, Rickie worked for three years at Baker & McKenzie’s Chicago office in the Corporate and Securities practice group as a Project Assistant. There, he developed a passion for the interaction of law and technology and became fascinated by how technology was making the practice of law more efficient and effective. His keen interest in law and technology drew Rickie to Chicago-Kent’s Law Lab.
